Since May is Graduation season,it is fitting that w discuss the topic of " STUDENT LOAN DEBT." At the present moment,,the amount Americans owe in " STUDENT LOANS " now stands at well above a " TRILLION DOLLARS !" What's even more startling than this is that the number of " DEFAULTED " federal " STUDENT LOANS " hit a new high in 2016: about 8 " MILLION " borrowers have given up paying on more than $137 billion in education debts.In fact, 1.1 million student borrowers defaulted for the first time in 2016, according to data released by the U.S. Department of Education. In America," STUDENT LOAN DEBT " has turned into a STUDENT'S worst nightmare[ A Record Number of People Aren’t Paying Back Their STUDENT LOANS - Kim Clark / Mar 14, 2017 ]!Which brings us to the QUESTION," Is pursuing a College Degree worth getting in so much debt?" Which leads to another QUESTION," Why do people think that they need a College Degree in the FIRST place. Yes, I understand going to College to get a Degree to legally practice Law,Medicine,and Teaching.However,I fail to see the reasoning behind going DEEP in DEBT to acquire a College Degree to practice a job paying only $25,000 a year ! Additionally,extremely too many High School Students are graduating from High School with only a vague idea about " WHO THEY ARE " or " WHO THEY WANT TO BECOME !It seems like they don't have a sense of their True Identity.Furthermore, They appear to be so caught up in SOCIETY'S great SCHEME of " Go to School,get good grades, go to College and get a good job." However,they have failed to realize that this plan is no longer a viable option for a large majority of Students." Government( public ) Schools have made Education all about the curriculum and Academics.Therefore,most students have been conditioned to feel like they have to pursue an occupation connected to an Academic College Degree[ see Classical Conditioning ].They have even hoodwinked the parents into believing that sending the child to College is the best available option to insure the child's success in life. I think that it's appalling that in way too many cases,students are pushed into attending College when they would be better off finding a mentor,getting a job, or starting their own business.Someone once said," Failing to plan is planning to Fail."(I feel that we have to stop setting our children up to Fail ! ).In closing, I would like to say,"There is no reason for students to be Graduating from High School one year and deep in STUDENT LOAN DEBT the next." Hello again everyone,this week's article has to do with " LIGHT." There's a phrase they use in Hollywood called," Lights,Camera,Action!" This phrase has helped me " SEE " the connection that " LIGHT " has to " SIGHT." Most professional photographers will tell you how much " LIGHTING " affects the quality of the picture.Which leads us to what I really want everyone to become more " AWARE " of.During the past 5 - 7 years I have noticed an alarmingly high amount of people being prescribed prescription glasses.It's as if people have failed to realize that their eyes need " NATURAL SUNLIGHT," just as much as the body needs " AIR!"In an article that I recently read, it suggested that we give our eyes at least 2-3 continuous hours of " NATURAL LIGHT." Yesterday after being on Brenda's show, I took a closer look at the word " BELIEF ." I realized something about the word that I hadn't noticed before.My Mind was awakened to the fact that when you drop the letter " f " from the word " BELIEF," you get the meaning of a " FALSE BELIEF." By dropping the letter " f ," belief becomes " BE LIE "( exactly what a false belief is ).During the show,I mentioned to Brenda that we have to realize that by the age of 15, a child has " UNKNOWINGLY "accepted so many beliefs and " FALSE BELIEFS " into their " SUBCONSCIOUS MIND,and many of those BELIEFS and FALSE BELIEFS are causing many of the problems that they a currently experiencing in their lives. As I look around the city where I live, I can't help but realize the disparity between those who have Financial Wealth and those who are in " DEEP FINANCIAL DEBT ." One cannot help but recognize that the Wealthy ones have a different " MINDSET " from those who are " FINANCIAL SLAVES." Those " STRAPPED " with financial debt, always seem to keep getting deeper and deeper in " BAD DEBT." [ Garry, do you mean to say that there is such a thing as " GOOD DEBT ?" Well, of course there is ]. However, most times, only the Wealthy people have learned how to avoid the " BAD DEBT," and utilize the " GOOD DEBT." Have you ever heard of the term OPM( other people's money )? Good !Most Wealthy people have learned to harness the POWER of OPM, while most people who are struggling financially have not.Also, it still puzzles me as to why our public school systems " FAILED " to offer FINANCIAL LITERACY in such dire times as these! Especially when I see High School students graduate from High School with NO DEBT, but within a period of 2 - 4 years, accumulate Student Loan Debt as high as $40,000 to $50,000.According to an Article from May 2014, Student Loans Debt has passed " credit cards and auto loans " to become the SECOND biggest source of personal debt in the U.S., trailing only mortgages. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/americans-owe-1-2-trillion-student-loans-article-1.1796 . Furthermore, I feel that it is very appalling how so many Students Dreams of obtaining a Higher Education have become their GREATEST NIGHTMARE!To add insult to injury, many Corporations and Businesses " NO LONGER " view a College Degree as a good measurement of a person's Intelligence.In a different Article from August 2016, the Article notes that a Record Number Of College Grads Are Working Minimum Wage Jobs!" Increasingly more low wage employees are those with a college education, in the form of a Bachelor's Degree or higher, as they are unable to leverage their diploma credentials to get a better paying job, while " the only ones hiring " are those seeking minimum-paid workers http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-08-29/why-record-number-college-grads-are-working-minimum-wage-jobs . For some reason,this scripture keeps popping up in my head.This scripture also reminds me that most people have been programmed to fail.From the cradle to pre-school, from pre-school to High School we have received " CORRUPT " files into " our mind.Things that negatively effective the outcome of the results of our actions.It's as though we were programmed to run on auto-pilot.I call it the " School to job Program." The Program gets you to " THINK," go to school,get good grades, then go to college, get a degree and get a good job.In a video,a man said, think about a tattoo on someone's body.Before the tattoo was tattooed on the person's body,it was tattooed on the person's mind.You see,the " School to job Program " was tattooed on our minds[starting from pre-school ]. Also, these " CORRUPT " files end up " DISTORTING " our " ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING !" When we were born, God " PRE-INSTALLED " us with the PROGRAMMING to help us WIN. We have to " PURPOSELY " work on reprogramming our mind. So many people are trying to WIN without " REPROGRAMMING " their minds FIRST[ and then wonder why they aren't WINNING ].
