Since May is Graduation season,it is fitting that w discuss the topic of " STUDENT LOAN DEBT." At the present moment,,the amount Americans owe in " STUDENT LOANS " now stands at well above a " TRILLION DOLLARS !" What's even more startling than this is that the number of " DEFAULTED " federal " STUDENT LOANS " hit a new high in 2016: about 8 " MILLION " borrowers have given up paying on more than $137 billion in education debts.In fact, 1.1 million student borrowers defaulted for the first time in 2016, according to data released by the U.S. Department of Education. In America," STUDENT LOAN DEBT " has turned into a STUDENT'S worst nightmare[ A Record Number of People Aren’t Paying Back Their STUDENT LOANS - Kim Clark / Mar 14, 2017 ]!Which brings us to the QUESTION," Is pursuing a College Degree worth getting in so much debt?" Which leads to another QUESTION," Why do people think that they need a College Degree in the FIRST place. Yes, I understand going to College to get a Degree to legally practice Law,Medicine,and Teaching.However,I fail to see the reasoning behind going DEEP in DEBT to acquire a College Degree to practice a job paying only $25,000 a year ! Additionally,extremely too many High School Students are graduating from High School with only a vague idea about " WHO THEY ARE " or " WHO THEY WANT TO BECOME !It seems like they don't have a sense of their True Identity.Furthermore, They appear to be so caught up in SOCIETY'S great SCHEME of " Go to School,get good grades, go to College and get a good job." However,they have failed to realize that this plan is no longer a viable option for a large majority of Students." Government( public ) Schools have made Education all about the curriculum and Academics.Therefore,most students have been conditioned to feel like they have to pursue an occupation connected to an Academic College Degree[ see Classical Conditioning ].They have even hoodwinked the parents into believing that sending the child to College is the best available option to insure the child's success in life. I think that it's appalling that in way too many cases,students are pushed into attending College when they would be better off finding a mentor,getting a job, or starting their own business.Someone once said," Failing to plan is planning to Fail."(I feel that we have to stop setting our children up to Fail ! ).In closing, I would like to say,"There is no reason for students to be Graduating from High School one year and deep in STUDENT LOAN DEBT the next." It's time to STOP THE STUDENT LOAN DEBT INSANITY !" Hello again everyone,this week's article has to do with " LIGHT." There's a phrase they use in Hollywood called," Lights,Camera,Action!" This phrase has helped me " SEE " the connection that " LIGHT " has to " SIGHT." Most professional photographers will tell you how much " LIGHTING " affects the quality of the picture.Which leads us to what I really want everyone to become more " AWARE " of.During the past 5 - 7 years I have noticed an alarmingly high amount of people being prescribed prescription glasses.It's as if people have failed to realize that their eyes need " NATURAL SUNLIGHT," just as much as the body needs " AIR!"In an article that I recently read, it suggested that we give our eyes at least 2-3 continuous hours of " NATURAL LIGHT." Why Beliefs? One of the reasons was because of something that I heard a lady name Bobbi Summers say. She said," Whatever you BELIEVE,you will BELIVE!Let me REPEAT this for you one more time : " WHAT YOU BELIEVE, YOU WILL BELIVE ! Yesterday after being on Brenda's show, I took a closer look at the word " BELIEF ." I realized something about the word that I hadn't noticed before.My Mind was awakened to the fact that when you drop the letter " f " from the word " BELIEF," you get the meaning of a " FALSE BELIEF." By dropping the letter " f ," belief becomes " BE LIE "( exactly what a false belief is ).During the show,I mentioned to Brenda that we have to realize that by the age of 15, a child has " UNKNOWINGLY "accepted so many beliefs and " FALSE BELIEFS " into their " SUBCONSCIOUS MIND,and many of those BELIEFS and FALSE BELIEFS are causing many of the problems that they a currently experiencing in their lives.
